I never originally watched anime, i was introudced to it in like... 2023? That kind of time. I thought all anime was, was like either constant fighting or fan service. Turns it very much isnt and is just as diverse as nomal tv! Also, I like romance, sue me. Not the fanservice kind tho that stuffs weird as hell.
This was the anime i got recommended that got me into anime, despite it being very fight based, there was actual plot to it outside of "oh no bad guy did thing, time to fight" over and over again. I ended up getting bored by the Mugen Train though.
Had a mate who was crazy about this one, so decided to watch it myself, Its peak, especially that movie they made recently, the artstyle, fluidity of the animation and just how batshit insane it is makes it just great!
This trilogy is awsome, and despit it being BL, you dont really realize it until like half way through, or atleast i didnt. I mean sure there were classic signs, but I got so invested in the actual plot of the show i forgot it was a romance at first! Even when romance comes in, it still is clear that in this show, plot matters. Making it a great combo for both romance and plot anime!
Found out about this via TikTok, its more of a typical romance, but without the tropes, if that makes sense? Like all the setups happen you expect from romance, but the way they end is not always what you expect. Its also real wholesome, sweet and at times funny.
Found this one on a old forum thread about the PC-9800 pc lineup, Its an anime about a girl who can time travel using old computer software, and ends up working in a studio with others across time! I find it awesome, one of my favourite characters from anything ever is Mamorou Rokuta, the guy, who is obsessed with 90s PCS [Like me] and programming [Also like me], It also has some real well renderd machines, clearly whoever made it knew their stuff about computers and anime! The only bit im not the biggest fan of is the alien arc, it seems... strangley out of place. Overall one of my favourites though.
Found this one via the news, as im writing this, this show is on EP 7, so not done yet. But so far i think its awesome! The animation style is cool, its really funny and doesnt take itself seriously at all, making it a great comedy and the Unique outros with some truly awesome music at the end of each episode proves how much they care.
Found this one via tiktok, this show is another romance, but it has a pretty unique concept, each persons personality is completley different and you truly have no idea who likes who, its also really funny in general and seeing the personalities clash is great drama! This one is not available on crunchyroll, only in Japan or other means.
