I listen to most of my music off cassette, and record music to cassette if it didnt come out on it, audiophiles be dammned. I used to listen to only 80s stuff, but i slowly learned about things like Vocaloid. Now i listen to japanese pop, 80s rock and pop, and even some stuff as early as the 30s! The big headers are the main bands or albums i listen to, assorted favourites are at the bottom.
I got reccomended this band by a friend and it is now one of my favourite artists out there. They are a japanese "pop"? (Not sure) artist, making a very out there but good albums. I listen to pretty much all of their stuff, such as the albums: "Hetoheto room","Overfeel","Flitter" and "Mirareu Mirror". Highly reccomend
The only vocaloid song i knew until Paige was Triple Baka and even then i only knew it from memes. Jamies songs were my first true vocaloid, starting with birdbrain, which i immideatley became obsessed with, then it extended to Rot for clout and Machine love. This then sparked a vocaoloid obsesion, learning about songs like: Miku, Hachi, Vegetable juice, Lost media, Zako and many more!
The clash is a pretty classic band, making many greats like: Rocking the cashbah, Boys dont cry, Should i stay or should i go. I personally own the CD of "Combat Rock", which is a great album!
This CD is peak, Eurobeat is truly a great genre, i personally own a real japanese import Eurobeat CD from 1998, manuals and all. This is one of my most prized posessions and i make sure this thing is under lock and key.
They made the Minecraft OST, which is the most relaxing music ever created, i swear this thing is better than therapy.
50 Years: Dont stop, is the most awesome album i listend to growing up, maybe the artists of the 80s were like, high as shit, which is what my dad sometiems says, but like it makes some great songs!
This guy is a legend, I have never met a single person who says they dont like bob marley, theres always a track they like, wether its 3 little birds, or Dont worry about a thing, or my favourite, Could you be loved. I feel like he achieved his goal pretty well, uniting people together.
Some ground-breaking music for its time, or so they say (No hate). I have the "Whole story" album, its some peak stuff and i thought it was late 80s but apparently most her stuff came out in the 70s!
Bon Jovi is another classic in the rock world, I have his album, "Slippery when wet", this 1 album got me through a whole week one time when i forgot to bring my other tapes on holiday.
I found this album on accident, i found it in a charity shop and bought it because it had a photo of a old van on it, which made my brain happy. Then i got surprised with some of the best music ever, there is literally only 1 track on the whole CD i skip, im glad i picked it up.
I have been listening to this group since i was a small kid, theres a video of me somewhere signing "I dont want to set the world on fire" at like age 7, I have their tapes too, and despite it being from the 30s and 40s, it still is great music today! Also, its used on Fallout-Radio so ive heard.
A very underground musician, they make wildly differnet genres of music, but still with their own unique twist, some songs have vocals but most do not. Rat taxi, big stepper, buisness, scrapbook studio and Hurricane Louie are my favourite albums of his.
